commands Permission

This permission enables keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+D on Windows/Linux, Cmd+Shift+D on Mac). We:

• Only register system-level keyboard events
• Do not monitor keyboard input for any other purpose
• Do not track keystroke patterns

tabs Permission

This permission allows closing open browser tabs when you select that option. We:

• Only close tabs when you explicitly enable and request this feature
• Do not read tab content or history
• Do not monitor tab activity

storage Permission

This permission allows storing your preferences. We:

• Store only your deletion preferences and time range
• Use only local storage (not cloud sync)
• Never transmit stored data externally

6. User Control

You have complete control over the extension:

• Choose what to delete: Select checkboxes for each data type
• Choose when to delete: Manually trigger deletion or use keyboard shortcuts
• Clear preferences: Remove all stored data through Chrome settings
• Uninstall anytime: All data is deleted when you remove the extension

7. Third-Party Services

Click and Clear does not use any third-party services, analytics providers, or external APIs. The extension operates entirely within your browser with no external connections.
